American Genocide?

The way I am going to approach this project may be different than most of the other people who also did this assignment. I am not going to tell you my thesis statement and act like who ever is going to read this has no idea about the subject that are going to be brought up in the future... There are many different opinions and view points on the Iraqi War. This war is going on in Iraq against a group that is notoriously known. They are called al-Queda. It all started on September 11, 2001. Or did it?

Most people in the general public believe this but very many writers, professors, and all government officials that have been involved in any type of national security for The United States of America beg to differ. They all have stated that it all started with George Bush Sr. Bush Sr. and Osama bin Laden had problems in the nineties and most say that bin Laden won the battle between those two. When Bush Jr. was placed into office by accident he wanted to avenge his father by getting revenge against the al- Queda. Instead of him starting the battle with his father’s enemy, they threw the first punch.

This was September 11, 2001. One of the worst moments in American History and the first time ever that there was American blood-shed on American soil. This was the best situation for Bush to get granted the power to send troops into Iraq. Except Bush lied in order to get absolute control.

George W. Bush has been lying for numerous years about why he has placed thousands upon thousands of troops into Iraq. First he said we have to get revenge. Then he decided to change up his story and say it was to make sure the nuclear weapons have been put to a halt. Then the greatest lie yet, he said he we were helping them. We have so many casualties to our counties name though... We are not helping.

U.S. military troops in Iraq are fighting enemies that they are not sure what they look like. The bad thing about this particular problem, is that no one, knows what they look like. Apart from the ignorant and bias image that is portrayed by the government and by our parental guardians, we don’t know what our enemy looks like. Think about our enemy right now, and if you would please, imagine him. What do you imagine? No, I know exactly what you imagine. Men who are dressed to show respect, love, and loyalty to there lord king and savior. What is that, then?

The troops are told to shoot-to-kill these men. But then again the must not shoot at some one that does not LOOK like there enemy. Such as a civilian. But how do you know who is your enemy?, looks right. But your enemy wears what he wears what he wears as a religious responsibility.

If I correctly recall from my sophomore modern world history class, this falls in the category and definition almost directly corresponding to: deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group. The definition that I just stated is the definition of Genocide. Weird.

"Some say that Iraq is not a part of the broader war on terror. They claim that the organization called al Qaeda in Iraq is an Iraqi phenomenon -- that it's independent of Osama bin Laden and it's not interested in attacking America. That would be news to Osama bin Laden. I presented intelligence that clearly establishes this connection. The facts are that al Qaeda terrorists killed Americans on 9/11, they're fighting us in Iraq and across the world, and they're plotting to kill Americans here at home again." [CNN,7/24/07 ]

This quote, as you can see, is taken from CNN. It was written six years after the attack and five years after the declaration of war between America and Iraq. Well supposedly are helping Iraq. Who has the right to be mad?
